Choose Trust

So many people are in fear of the future. Fear of things that may or could happen. Fear of the unknown.

I want to share a story of something that happened to me a couple of years ago. I was on the internet--streaming thru videos. Something caught my eye---it was about the future of money. I clicked on it....watched for about 30 to 40 minutes. By the time it was over--I was filled with fear and anxiety. My mind was going a hundred miles an hour. What could I do? How could I prepare? What about those around us? You get the gist.

So I asked the Lord--what about this??

Immediately--and I mean immediately He took me to scripture.

Isaiah 8:12-14 Amp

12 Do not call conspiracy all that this people will call conspiracy; neither be in fear of what they fear, nor make others afraid and in dread.

13 The Lord of Hosts--regard Him as holy and honor His holy name (by regarding Him as your only hope of safety), and let Him be your fear and let Him be your dread (lest you offend Him by your fear of man and distrust of Him).

14 And He shall be a sanctuary (a sacred and indestructible asylum to those who reverently fear and trust in Him)

After reading this, I repented for allowing fear in. I felt a peace come over me that to this day has not left.

God says He does not want us to be in fear or lead others into fear. This is HUGE! We are responsible for what we relate to others.

That doesn't mean we bury my head in the sand. We are aware of what's going on in the world--but we must choose not to be in fear but to trust. But our trust can not be in man or what we can do--It must be in God!

We dishonor Him if we operate in fear.

Proverbs 3:5-7 When we trust in Him and acknowledge Him--He will give us direction and make our crooked path straight.

He said--we are to bring the Good News of the Gospel Eph. 6:15

It is GOOD news!!!

Also, the kindness of God leads us to repentance--Romans 2:4

We know we will have and do have troubles in this world. We walk thru some really devastating things. I believe nothing is wasted--God will use everything we have been thru for His good in our lives if we allow Him to.

I want to encourage you for this new year of 2017--Focus on what you see God doing, not the enemy. John 10:10 Jesus came to give life in full abundance!

Thank Him, Acknowledge Him in all your ways, don't allow fear to have any place in your life. Trust in the Lord with all your heart--for He cares for you and knows every detail you are walking thru.

CHOOSE to TRUST!!

Have a blessed, abundant New Year 2017!!
