Got What it Takes?

In 2008 and 2009 The Filling Station combined Extreme Day with Got What it Takes? to award those individuals for the year and accomplishments in that program. Unfortunately, the Boys and Girls Clubs in Wellington met with some financial hardships and the Got What it Takes? program may not be running in coming years.

Got what it takes to change your Community? Your Life?

The Wellington Filling Station has joined hands with the Boys & Girls Clubs of Larimer County to change our surroundings and future.

2008 was the first year for Got What it Takes? Twenty youth were selected into the program.  They were sent around the Wellington community doing chores and other tasks, helping out in community events, and working alongside some of our local businesses.

These first twenty were selected through an application process- applications are available through the Got What it Takes? website.

The purpose of Got What it Takes?:  To improve our community and the involvement of our youth in the local social and economic structures by engaging in purposeful tasks to increase awareness and self actualization.
